for maintenance, emergency mechanical failure, good gas and oil, stuff like that. If you are mechanically inclined that could help a lot. I'd say as long as you are not really hurting for cash you'll be fine. I love mine, even through all the problems like today when I came home and it started pissing coolant out of the back of the engine, and since all those hoses are pretty new I think it is a gasket. Sorry venting a bit. Good luck figuring it out
